Sublimation Printing On Cork Board
Who doesn’t love a good cork board, especially personalized! In today’s blog post we will cover how to use your sublimation printer to print on a cork board!
Materials Needed
Set of 4 – 12″ x 12″ Cork Board w/ White Frames
Sublimation Printer
Adhesive Spray
Butcher Paper
Heat Press
Sublimation Paper TexPrintR

Instructions
- Have your design ready and print on sublimation paper. If you need to make adjustments use Adobe Photoshop.
2. As an alternative to heat tape, spray the sublimation paper design with adhesive.
3. Place the sublimation paper design on the cork with the ink side with image down on the board. Center the design.
4. Next, place a piece of Butcher Paper on the lower plate of the heat press.
5. Then, put the centered and secured sublimation paper design and board on the lower plate of the heat press.
6. Place a piece of Butcher Paper on top of the centered and secured sublimation paper design and board.
7. Close the Heat Press and press at 400F for 1 minute and 15 seconds with medium to heavy pressure.
8. Remove from Heat Press and place something heavy on top of the sublimation paper and cork board. The cork tends to have curled edges after being heated. The applied pressure during cooling will keep the board straight and flat.
9. Remove the sublimation paper.
